Theresa Robert 

Chair of the Board

Theresa brings more than 34 years of experience working in the transportation industry to her role at Mariwell. As the Director of Finance and Accounting, she led the organization in all financial aspects while growing and expanding the business to become Southwestern Ontario’s premier transportation logistics provider. Theresa also managed the organization's human resources needs and was responsible for all government compliance requirements including regulator and health and safety programs.

 

During the past few years, Theresa has been working as an independent consultant and has recently been appointed as a Director of a non-profit organization. She is excited to apply her expertise to the emerging and  ever-changing cannabis industry.
 

Currently – VP of Finance at JP Mariwell Inc. and Chair of the Board, overseeing and developing measures and monitoring systems that support the company strategic direction.  Evaluate risk management for both financial and operations of the company.  Including developing strategy tied to the metrics for both. 

She has become deeply involved in the organics, and the sustainable and regenerative agriculture aspects of not only the Cannabis industry, but agriculture as a whole.  Passionate about ensuring our earth is respected and treated with the utmost care for our future generations.  Mariwell as a company is committed to quality as well as social and ecological responsibility.  Her pivot between finance and climate change is inspiring and crucial to our environment.

Jeff McAllister

Jeff brings his passion and results-oriented mindset to the Mariwell team. As a local Chatham entrepreneur, he has extensive business development experience and fundraising skills he hopes to utilize to attract financing for Mariwell's growth plans and portfolio.

 

He has also been instrumental in helping the Mariwell management team develop and establish business processes that will help set a more robust foundation for success and growth.

 

Jeff began his first business when he was seventeen in Chatham and has never looked back. 

William Moore

Dr. Bill Moore was born and raised in Chatham Kent and attended the University of Guelph where he received his degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1985. 

 

For over 30 years, Dr. Moore was a practitioner in various animal clinics across South Western Ontario. 

In the past, Bill has been a Board member and President at Canadian Greenpower Southwestern Ontario and the Ontario Association of Swine Veterinarians.

 

Currently, D. Moore owns Moore Swine Services and brings a wealth of agricultural knowledge and experience to the Mariwell Board of Directors.

Peter Birch

Peter began his career in the financial services industry in the United Kingdom and has primarily worked in financial debt services since the mid-1980s.

 

Seeing Canada's accelerated legalization and recognizing the exponential opportunity for growth, Peter joined the Cannabis industry and Mariwell.

 

With Peter’s knowledge of the European financial markets and his extensive connections in the UK, he will provide insight and guidance to allow Mariwell to exploit those markets as they develop over the coming years.

Kerry Mall

Dr. Mall immigrated to Canada in 2005 and has lived in Chatham-Kent with his family since 2010.

 

He has over 15 years of entrepreneurial, management and Veterinary experience. He is also the Founder and President of four successful veterinary hospitals in Southwestern Ontario.

 

As an active investor, Dr. Mall loves to develop ideas, specifically looking at new investment opportunities. He believes in partnership and investing and is excited to join the Mariwell team.
